The desert city of Palm Springs is not the place you’d expect to find much flora and fauna however, it is unexpectedly bursting with wildflowers and exotic plants. Towering cacti, low-lying succulents, spiky yuccas and shady palms layered and set amongst white pebbles and artfully placed stone creating a modern oasis set within an almost barren landscape. This abstracted representation seeks to capture the essence of a modern garden through a paired back, minimal exploration of colour and composition.
