This vibrant contemporary painting filled with hues of orange, beige’s and pops of pink is part of the Palm Springs series, inspired by desert modernism architecture established in Palm Springs in the 1920s. The modular nature of the mid-century homes brought the outside in allowing you to become immersed in the landscape. This blur of boundaries created a sense of calm and connection to nature which I have strived to capture on a canvas.
